Smart Move is clearly the leader in Fort Lauderdale for short-term furnished rentals. I’ve been impressed with them on both sides of fence. Initially a renter through one of their properties I was more than happy with the team, apartment, and whole business they ran. When I invested in a 3 unit building it was a no brainer to have them rent the units out for me.

I travel a lot so its nice to have a property management company that I can rely for things to be taken care of properly while I’m away including paying my utility bills for me, fixing maintenance issues bound to happen with home ownership, and keeping the place rented. Smart-Move Property Management have been managing my duplex since December 2009. During this time I can honestly say the team has been a pleasure to work with. My properties have been consistently rented with quality clients, many of whom are repeat clients who return again and again.

I have resided locally during this time, and also in Australia. We have had some challenges to deal with at times(a broken water pipe from the fridge which flooded both apartments, blocked sewerage lines to name a few) and Shelley and the entire staff worked with me and the Insurance agents more then satisfactorily, and also managed to keep the displaced clients happy. The level of professionalism has exceeded what I hoped for. Knowing that I will receive a monthly statement, and also 1099 at the end of each year has helped me manage the business end of the rentals and keep my accountant happy.

Due to my husbands’ job, we unfortunately had to leave our beloved house in Fort Lauderdale after enjoying it for 9 years. We were worried about having 2 mortgages (FL & TX), one of our neighbors told us about one of HER neighbors (good old “word of mouth” advertising) who had had the same situation and went to Smart-Move for help.

Five years later, they were beyond thrilled so we thought we’d give you a call! From the first meeting, we were sure that this was the right thing to do! EVERYONE on your staff is so kind and helpful!

After moving all of our personal things out and “tweaking” a few things that needed repairs, we turned over the keys to you! We were thrilled to get a one month rental about a month later. The house was then empty for about a month and NOW is rented for SIX months to a lovely couple. BRAVO!!!!

Any time I call or e-mail, I always get a prompt, courteous reply.Any repairs are done quickly and properly and at a fair price.

We have been customers of Smart Move since 2005, We are very satisfied with the management of both properties, we are leaving overseas for few years now and Smart Move is taking care of everything from payment which are paid on time on our account, accounting, repairing of damages finding tenants…
